As a women-owned business, Ways & Wane understands the challenges of working women and their partners. Sandwiched between parents and parenting, streamlined eldercare answers become a necessity.
Our Founding Story
For both co-founders Deborah McDonald and Elizabeth Dameron-Drew, the caregiving journey is a deeply personal one. After walking beside an elderly loved one in their waning phase of life, they committed to helping other working daughters and sons.
With combined experience in professional staffing, caregiving and technology, the founding team developed this proprietary technology-based approach. Fragmented eldercare information coupled with the overwhelmingly busy lives of professionals spotlighted the need for this platform.
Behind the Name
Ways & Wane provides practical and honor-filled ways to navigate your senior’s waning season. Sometimes the “wane” gets spelled “Wayne.” So we made him our mascot. He’s the only male in the company so far.
